I know a lot of people get nervous going into networking events. And today I’m going to give you the best tip I have for eliminating that nervousness and growing your business:
Go into networking events with a HOW CAN I HELP mentality?
HELP OTHERS. This is a golden rule in business and has proven itself over and over for me.
I love it. It’s like a game. And I genuinely enjoy connecting, learning about people, building relationships and finding out how I can help others. And people love it too, so it is an easy way to win favor and stay on people’s good sides.
Imagine every woman goes to a networking event with the mentality of “how can I help everyone?” and “how can I add as much value as possible?” Imagine what we could do together!
There are all kinds of other things we could get into for successful networking, like how to approach strangers, or having the perfect elevator pitch. Or we could talk about how to meet specific, targeted people at a networking event. And we’re going to be doing free webinars on a lot of that stuff coming up so make sure you’re signed up for our newsletter so you don’t miss any of our great content.
If you’re watching over on youtube check below the video for links to our webinars and how to sign up for our newsletter.
