62 million girls worldwide are not in school.1

There are approximately 781 million illiterate adults in the world.

2/3 are women.2

15 million girls will never attend primary school, compared to 10 million boys.3

Our mission is to support girls in rising to their full potential by having equal access to education. We believe that girls’ education will be key to advancing world peace.

How we do it

Femworking partners with the International Rescue Committee to support girls’ access to education. When a Femworking member purchases a year of membership, a year of tuition is donated for a girl in need.
